“Resuscitation. collective action for the oceans” is the theme of World Oceans Day 2022, the year framed by the celebration of the Decade of Ocean Science and the Nations Oceans Conference, which was canceled two years later due to the epidemic.

The Ocean Project has coordinated World Oceans Day on 8 June for the past 17 years. It is an important environmental problem. We get both food and medicine from the deep blue, and it helps to maintain the climate. Oh, and there’s something about water being the “lungs of the earth.” it turns out that most of the oxygen we breathe comes from the ocean. We always feel that the waves give us breath. (Okay, once or twice it’s a lifesaver, but that doesn’t diminish the value of one of our most precious resources.) But if we don’t take steps to preserve it, we’ll lose more than a weekend spot. So dive in and do your part to keep the big blue strong.
