Nashville Labor Day Weekend 2023 – Nashville celebrates America’s independence with picnics, baseball games, lots of live music and fireworks displays. The music capital of the world offers a day full of fun and various events. You can start early at 7 am for the Music City 4th of July 5k/10k Run. During the day, you can see the Nashville Sounds play baseball, try barbecue downtown, or try hot chicken in East Park. The “Freedom Sing! Music City 4th of July” celebration will light up the 4th of July in Nashville.
Below Broadway is the center of fun all day long. After the night falls, be sure to watch the LED lights on the Korean Heroes Memorial Bridge. This annual festival celebrates Nashville’s signature dish: hot chicken. Since 2007, this book event held in East Park has been one of the most popular ways to celebrate the 4th of July. Free hot chicken samples are available to the first 500 people in line. The festival runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and features a flying parade, a cooking contest, live music and crafts.
Bna Expects More Than 150,000 Passengers During Labor Day Weekend
Music City’s 4th of July is one of Downtown Nashville’s largest annual music festivals that draws an impressive lineup of headliners. The concert is open to the public and draws approximately 350,000 people to 5th & Broadway and the Ascent Amphitheater. The festive Family Fun Zone opens early in the Walk of Fame Park with climbing walls, water slides and a variety of games.
The festival ends with a 30-minute fireworks display. Riverfront Park and the Pedestrian are some of the best places to see the show. Radio 100, Nashville’s independent radio station, announced the return of Live On The Green after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event, scheduled for Labor Day weekend, September 1-5, this year will be held on Public Square in Nashville.

Live On The Green Returns For First Time Since 2019 In Nashville
Among the first acts to be added to the 2022 line-up are Moon Taxi, The Shindellas and LadyCouch, as announced yesterday (June 15) exclusively on 100.1 FM. The full lineup and schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
