House Speaker Chris Sprowls called the tax package “the largest federal tax cut in state history,” helping Floridians with inflation at its lowest level in years.
Senate President Wilton Simpson said the tax credits are meant to ease the pain of Floridians who have seen prices rise faster than their wages.
“This bill helps growing families, Floridians looking to prepare their homes for the summer, and our government workers who are doing everything they can to save rising gas prices. -oil and inflation that most of us haven’t seen in our lifetime,” Simpson said.
