This year also marks the launch of the 311th Pow Wow Festival, a three-day, two-stage musical extravaganza that will be held August 4-6 at the Suwannee Spirit of Music in Live Oak, Florida. The 500-acre park and campground will be home to the band’s first multi-day camping and music festival. Confirmed artists include Deftons, Sublime with Rome and Dirty Heads, with more to come. Festival-goers can look forward to a four-set 311 show that will feature all of Transistor’s award-winning 1997 album. 311 (pronounced “three elev”) is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The group was formed in 1988 by vocalist and guitarist Nick Hexum, guitarist Jim Watson, bassist Aaron “P-Nuta” Wills.
